Preparing A Layered Cake


Prepping
 

 In order to prepare a layered wedding cake, you will need to prepare the cake pans. For this, you will need to place a parchment paper on the cake pans. This would ensure the bottom doesn’t stick to the pan. At the same time, the cake would come out without breaking into pieces.


Baking
 

Pour down the batter in equal amount into the pans and bake it. This would ensure that each cake layer comes out in equal size. Chill Them

When preparing a layered cake, it is important to chill the prepared cake layers in fridge. Wrap it with a plastic wrap and keep inside the fridge overnight. This would make the cake  hard and working on it would be easier.


Assembling

Use a turntable to assemble the layers of the wedding cake. First place the chilled layer on the turntable and cut the top to get a flat surface. Then cover it with frosting.  Once done, place another layer and also cover it both from the top and sides.


When frosting is complete, place it in the freezer.  Once its chilled you can decorate it with frosted flowers and leaves.
